Thanks to Reporters without Borders for long-term partnership!

Founded in Montpellier in 1985, Reporters Without Borders (RSF) documents violations of freedom of the press and information worldwide and alerts the public when journalists and their staff are in danger.
RSF works for more security and better protection for journalists, fights online and offline against censorship, against the use and export of censorship software and against restrictive media laws.
We are grateful for the long-term strong partnership!

At the same time, today’s prize is an appeal to all persons who hold positions of responsibility in governments, in culture and in the media: be steadfast, value-oriented and also COURAGEOUS when irresponsible persons and powers undermine or relativise our values of freedom.
