Alexandre is a French investigative journalist, investigative project manager for the the Civil Forum for Asset Recovery (CiFAR) and the director of the Environmental Investigative Forum, a global consortium of environmental investigative journalists.

He has been involved with a long-term serie uncovering freezing assets breaches in Europe relating to the Mubarak and the Ben Ali clans, from 2017 to 2023, but also Russian oligarchs through the #RussianEscape project he managed along with the EIC on behalf of CiFAR.

Alexandre has been a Journalism Fund Europe, Pulitzer Center, Earth Journalism Network and #IJ4EU grantee and has been specialized in cross-border investigative project management since 2018.

He has been developing EIF’s consortium and structure since 2020, a GIJN member composed of 6 regional members and close to 100 individual members. EIF has initiated and participated to various cross-regional investigations, including a serie on French oil giant Perenco, since 2021.

I am very moved, especially because I was not expecting to hear these words, which are like an embrace for me.
