Alexandre Brutelle

Journalism Project Coordinator


Alexandre is a French investigative journalist and foreign reporter since 2014. He has been awarded four grants by the Journalism Fund EU scheme for cross-border investigative stories on several cross-border topics involving France, Bulgaria, Romania, Ghana and Tunisia.

Alexandre has also been working on an investigative series on the former Egyptian President Mubarak’s clan ill-gotten assets in the EU since 2016. He’s also a Investigative Project Coordinator at the Civil Forum for Asset Recovery (CiFAR), for cross-border investigative trainings on public asset theft and grand corruption.

In 2020, he co-founded the Environmental Investigative Forum (EIF), a gobal non-profit specialized in connecting experts and journalists for environmental reporting.
