Podcast with AFP fact-checker Eva Wackenreuther

27 April 2022. For fact checkers, the war in Ukraine is symbolically a war of enlightenment against anyone who spreads propaganda and lies. What is currently going on on the fact-checking front? Victoria Graul, founder of the podcast “Digga Fake” and M100 alumna, talked about this for her podcast with Eva Wackenreuther, who heads AFP‘s German-language fact-checking editorial department in Vienna.

Eva will also be leading a course on the topic at the M100 Young European Journalists Workshop, which takes place from 10-15 September on the topic of “Fake News and Disinformation”. As co-founder of the first fact-checking blog in Austria “Fakt ist Fakt”, Eva is also one of the pioneers in the fact-checking community there.
