Tsisia is a 24-year-old journalist from Tbilisi, Georgia. She is currently the Duty Editor of Myth Detector at the Media Development Foundation, a non-governmental organization.

Her background spans both journalism and fact-checking. She previously served as the managing editor for the Georgian online media outlet Tabula, where she covered political issues and worked as a reporter. Since 2023, she has been working as a fact-checker. Through Myth Detector’s collaboration with Meta, Tsisia verifies information in both Georgian and Russian languages.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication and PR.
