Konstantinos Kougkas is a master‘s student of the Department of Journalism and Mass Media of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Since he began his studies in 2016 he has taken part in a plethora of activities both inside and outside university walls, honing the skills he learned during his studies while simultaneously obtaining novel, practical field knowledge.

Apart from his work as a journalist he is a Researcher in the International Peace Journalism Lab under the guidance and cooperation of his teachers, Nikolaos Panagiotou and Christos Fragkonikolopoulos, emphasizing on Disinformation. Furthermore, he‘s keen on European and International politics, with a special interest for diplomacy, history and sociology.

The M100 Workshop helped me to find out what else I can do for my country when it comes to the Journalism. The M100 workshop in Potsdam was a great professional experience. In the next years I longed for a similar opportunity for informal learning, hands-on journalistic practice and the opportunity for deep discussions.
