Christoph Schwaiger

Christoph Schwaiger is a journalist who mainly covers science, AI, and current affairs. His stories have appeared in New Scientist, Euractiv, and Tom’s Guide among other established publications.

He is also a consulting editor. Always up for a good discussion, Christoph enjoys speaking at events and to other journalists and has appeared on LBC and Times Radio. He’s also often seen leading the conversation as the resident host of an online Maltese current affairs programme run by the rule-of-law NGO Repubblika.

As an active citizen, he believes in the importance of giving back to the community and has served on various consultative councils. He was also elected as a National President for Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global organisation focused on creating positive impact in society. Christoph holds an MA in journalism from the University of Groningen, graduating Cum Laude.
