My name is Anastasiia Krupka, I’m 22 and from Lviv, Ukraine. This year I have graduated from the Master’s program Journalism at the School of Journalism and Communications of Ukrainian Catholic University. I started to work by profession around four years ago. During this period, I wrote approximately 250 materials of different genres and styles (for Ukrainian, European and American media).
I really like working with texts: choice of topics, search for respondents and heroes, drawing the structure — that’s my cup of tea. І also have experience in videography, photography and podcasts. I am really interested in political journalism. Now I work as an international columnist for the Ukrainian media “The Ukrainian Week”. I often write articles about elections in different countries, particularly in Europe and the United States, and I am interested in their mechanisms and specifics. Of course, I’m interested in disinformation and manipulation during elections. I am trying to compare effective counteraction in different countries and work with solutions.
I have some experience in political communications, but I plan to work in the public sector and implement the knowledge I have gained in the field of media education, in particular in the political life of Ukrainians. You can find my articles here.
І also interested in charity and love to read.
