Adriano Rodari is an aspiring researcher working on the topic of disinformation in Europe. He holds a BA in Foreign Languages and Cultures for International Trade at the University of Verona.

After working and studying in Estonia, Spain, Russia and the Czech Republic, he enrolled in an MA in Political Science with a specific focus on Eastern Europe from the Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna. Adriano’s main interests are Balkan and Eastern European politics, media environment and democratisation. He is currently focusing on the role of Russian-backed media channels in shaping the response of European states during the COVID19 outbreak.

While studying, he interned at the Italian Embassy in Estonia, dealing with the daily news review. Currently, he works at the Berlin office of the German Marshall Fund of the United States as an intern in the European Interest(s) project. Besides, he volunteers as a Young European Ambassador and contributes to Lossi 36’s weekly newsletter, covering events unfolding in Eastern Europe.
