Olga Konsevych is a journalist and researcher. Since May 2022 she’s working at the Berlin-based newspaper Tagesspiegel, writing mainly on temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, human rights and verifying news about Russia’s invasion. In 2019-2022, she headed the editorial staff of 24tv.ua website in Kyiv and Lviv.

She earned a Doctorate Degree in Communication Studies from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, with a special focus on Ukraine-EU relations and Eastern Partnership. In 2023, she obtained a mini MBA for Sustainability and Media Management at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.

She is the first Ukrainian woman to join VVEngage cohort of Vital Voices Global Partnership, established by Hillary Clinton and Madeleine Albright. In 2022, she was a journalist in residence at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and in 2023 she continued her research activities at Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg.
