Daniel Brössler, born in 1969, is a senior editor in the parliamentary editorial office and responsible for the Chancellery.
He studied journalism in Munich and Washington and is a graduate of the German School of Journalism. In 1993 he reported from Bratislava for the German Press Agency. In 1996, he took over the management of the dpa office in Warsaw and in 1999 moved to the foreign policy editorial office of the Süddeutsche Zeitung in Munich. There he was responsible for reporting from Central and Eastern Europe. This was followed by positions as a correspondent in Moscow, Berlin and Brussels.
