Victoria Graul is an online editor based in Hanover, Germany, as well as the founder and host of the podcast “Digga Fake – Fake News & Fact-Checking”, an educational podcast on the topics of disinformation and media literacy. Once in a while she puts on training sessions at schools and explains the difference between fake news and hoaxes to pupils.
Victoria’s “umbilical cord“ to the GDR is inevitably the first touch point with the topics of disinformation and fake facts. She studied a master’s degree in European Integration at Chemnitz University of Technology and University of Tampere. She then worked in local journalism, at Leipziger Volkszeitung, Freie Presse and RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland RND.
She brings communication skills from more than ten international projects, with the M100 Youth Media Workshop 2009 being the first of all.
