Nevena Borisova is a freelance journalist based in Bulgaria, with overall journalistic experience of more than 9 years.
She works for one of the most independent Bulgarian online daily newspapers – E-vestnik.bg, and contributes to various international media outlets.
Nevena participated in the M100 Youth Media Workshop in Postdam, from where her interest in international exchange and training started. She later became also alumni of Thomson Reuters Foundation.
Her main interest is focused on reporting and analyses on women’s rights, poverty issues and social activism. Her work and travels provided her with the opportunity to enlarge her field of research on a local and international level, and to meet numerous social activists and generators of social change.
