Save the Date: M100 Sanssouci Colloquium 2021

The preparations for this year‘s M100 Sanssouci Colloquium and the M100 Young Professionals Seminar (YEJ) are in full swing!
The M100 Sanssouci Colloquim takes place on 6th October, 10 days after the Federal elections in the Schlosstheater of the Neues Palais in Park Sanssouci in Potsdam. The Schlosstheater is one of the most beautiful baroque theaters still preserved.

Report: Results of the M100 Sanssouci Colloquium 2020

Potsdam, 17 October 2020. “NEUSTART: Shaping the Post-Covid Media Order” was the title of the international media conference M100 Sanssouci Colloquium held on 17 September 2020. The online digital format was a first for the high-level event that allowed nearly 100 journalists, experts and politicians from across Europe to meet virtually and discuss the post-COVID media order.

Report: What happened at the M100YEJ Workshop 2020?

Potsdam, 16 Oktober 2020. The M100 Young European Journalists Workshop (M100YEJ) was realized this year for the first time in digital form as a decentralized online event due to the Covid19 situation: Around 25 invited M100YEJ participants from all over the world were connected online in interactive discussion groups. Under the title “The local-global nexus: Exploring new strategies for local journalism in the post-covid era”, the young journalists dealt from August 27 to September 17, 2020 with the future of (local) journalism in a global world along the dimensions of politics, economy, society and innovation. The central focus of the workshop was an interdisciplinary scenario process on the future of the European media landscape in 2030.
