Agron Bajrami is Editor in Chief of Koha Ditore, Albanian language daily newspaper published in Prishtina, Kosovo. He has been with the newspaper since its beginning, 1997, during which time he filled various positions, from reporter and columnist to cultural editor, political editor and deputy editor in chief. He is at the current position since 2004. He is a regular contributor to regional press, and over the years has published columns and opinions in various newspapers in Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Slovenia. He has also published articles and commentaries in European and American press, including The Guardian, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Neue Zuricher Zeitung. Agron Bajrami has also been active in organizing media community and advocating high journalistic standards and practices in Kosovo and wider region of Southeast Europe. In this capacity, he is a board member of Kosovo Press Council and elected member of the Board of South East European media Organization (SEEMO).
Born in Prishtina, Kosova, on December 5, 1967, Mr. Agron Bajrami graduated from the Fine Arts Faculty in University of Prishtina, in 1991. He is married and has a son and a daughter.
