Tanit Koch is a German journalist, managing director of the news channel n-tv and editor-in-chief of Media Group RTL Germany’s central newsroom. Until 2018 she was editor-in-chief of Europe’s largest newspaper BILD. She previously held various positions within Axel Springer SE, among them deputy editor, Hamburg bureau chief and copy chief of BILD as well as senior editor within the editorial board of WELT Group. She started her career in 2005 with a journalistic training at the politics and business desk of BILD and the Axel Springer Journalism School.
Tanit Koch holds degrees in law and political science. She is an Atlantik Brücke Young Leader, former scholar of Friedrich Naumann Stiftung, alumna of the British German Forum and the Stanford Executive Program. She serves as board member of the foundation Deutschlandstiftung Integration and as member of the Transatlantic Commission on Election Integrity. She is a regular commentator on political affairs and information related issues on national and international media.
